Minor — Swords
Three of Swords
The pain is there — the Three of Swords does not deny it. But the young man presses the Book to his chest, while the magpie, perched on a branch, keeps watch without a word. Not everything can be consoled; sometimes, one simply accompanies.
Symbolic reading
The pierced heart is one of tarot's oldest images, and the DAL preserves its truth: some passages wound. What changes is the response: the Book is not open — this is not the time to understand — but held close, as one holds what remains. The magpie no longer guides, no longer speaks: a silent witness, it stays. Grief does not need a lesson; it needs presence.
Reversed reading
Pain settles in instead of passing through: rumination, a wound kept alive — or refusal to feel, the Book held so tightly that it suffocates.
