Minor — Wands
Page of Wands
A teenager in a pointed red hat, too large and worn askew, smiles as he looks at his wand — not the horizon, not the Book. The Page of Wands is enthusiasm that already thinks it knows: “I think I know.”
Symbolic reading
Everything about him is unworked promise: the smooth, knotless wand — potential before effort; the hat inherited from a tradition larger than himself, worn carelessly. The Book hangs from his belt, closed, its halo extinguished, held by a simple cord: he carries it without knowing what he carries. At his feet, nestled in the grass, a small salamander — the spirit of Fire is already there, and he does not see it. His sideways smile is not a flaw: this is the age when one looks at one's own wand before questioning the world. Everything begins there.
Reversed reading
Presumption takes hold: lessons refused, fire handled without being understood — or the opposite, doubt extinguishing enthusiasm before anything has even been attempted.
